How long does it take to set up integrations?
Most integrations can be set up in just a few minutes. Many of Risotto’s integrations work out of the box for common workflows, so you can start automating tasks immediately. For example, connecting Slack and a ticketing system like Jira or Zendesk typically requires only a few configuration steps.
Does data sync bi-directionally and real-time?
Yes. For most integrations, data typically syncs bi-directionally and in real time. This ensures actions taken in one system (like Slack) are instantly reflected in others (like Jira, Zendesk, or your knowledge base).
What permissions are required?
Risotto follows the principle of least-privileged access. In most cases, we only require a service account with the minimal permissions necessary to perform the actions you enable. This helps ensure security while allowing automation to work effectively.
What actions can you automate for each integration?
Risotto can automate a wide range of IT and employee support workflows, including:
- Access requests (approval workflows, temporary access, role changes)
- Identity & authentication issues (password resets, MFA confirmations)
- Device and MDM workflows (device lockouts, collecting device context)
